After spending hours retexturing several Minecraft blocks to match the 16 dye colors, I thought to myself, wouldn't it be so much easier if there was a program that did all this for me? So then I made it happen.
With the ColorSwap program, you can upload any 16x16 texture, give it a name and identifier, and you will be provided with 16 new recolored textures along with all the add-on files for the blocks within seconds.
Once you install the zip file you will need to extract it before running the program. There are also comment instructions in the code that you will have to follow to set up ColorSwap.
You will need Visual Studio Code to run this program. It is free to download and is available on Windows and Mac computers.
Download the zip file, extract it, and open the ColorSwap.py file in Visual Studio Code.
